If your church is interested in exploring the possibilities or scheduling such an event:

Giving Back Camp (aka Work Camp)
Pilgrim Firs, Port Orchard, WA
March 23-25, 2026

Get a little dirty, stretch your muscles, and make a difference!

We are going to be beginning the work on a new storage barn for our tractor. We are also hoping to finish off the outdoor lighting at the labyrinth. Other projects vary, depending on the weather, current priorities, and the skills of the volunteers. Carpentry, cleaning, painting, raking, power washing and brush removal are always on the list.

Textile Retreat
N-Sid-Sen, Harrison, ID
March 26-29, 2026

Come join us on the shores of Lake Coeur d’Alene where you can sew, knit, weave, crochet and chat with other folk from across the NW. Work on a craft or project, enjoy delicious meals or go for a leisurely stroll. Work on any project you like, there will be a group quilting project, demonstrations and some teaching as well.

We begin on Thursday the 26th of March at 4 pm and close at 11 am on Sunday March 29 after breakfast.

Post-Easter Clergy Retreat
Pilgrim Firs, Port Orchard, WA
April 6-8, 2026

After the fullness and demands of the Easter season, clergy are invited to come away for a time of true Sabbath rest. This free retreat is a gift for the clergy of our Conference—and their partners or spouses—to simply breathe, relax, and reconnect in the sacred quiet of Pilgrim Firs.

Free for PNCUCC Clergy and their partner/spouse

Eco-Restoration Weekend
Pilgrim Firs, Port Orchard, WA
April 10-12, 2026

Join us for a time of ecological restoration to give back to the site and grounds that sustain this sacred space. Through hands-on service, volunteers will help protect our forests, trails, and buildings by removing invasive species, creating wild fire barriers, and engaging in on-going trail work. Your labor directly supports sustainability, safety, and access for all who gather here.

Women’s Retreat
N-Sid-Sen, Harrison, ID
May 15-17, 2026

This retreat, “A Shelter from the Storm”, is a weekend of rest and welcome for all cisgender, trans, and non-binary women of the Pacific Northwest Conference of the United Church of Christ, and their friends.

During our time together you are invited to seek respite from burdens, laugh and sing and revel in the beauty of creation found at N Sid Sen Camp and Retreat Center on the shores of beautiful Lake Coeur d’Alene.

This is a place and a time to consider HOW we are doing, not WHAT we are doing.

The co-facilitators, Rev. Andy CastroLang (from Spokane) and Rev. Lara Crutsinger-Perry, (from Olympia) hope to create a community of mutual care and blessing, a time of reclaiming joy and enjoying rest.

Your safety and comfort are paramount to the co-facilitators of this weekend, you can be assured of that in all of our planning.

We hope you will consider carpooling with friends, and we can seek to connect you to others if you wish to carpool but don’t have that information. Contact Andy at: acastrolang@gmail.com.

A vanpool from the west side of Washington is being offered by Pastor Lara, please contact her at: lara@unitedchurches.org if you wish to know more.

September 25-28, 2026

Pride Camp is a gathering of people from the Inland Northwest who share a commitment to creating a foundation that encourages individuals to show up and thrive in our community. Our goal is to cultivate connection and fellowship among groups that have too often existed in isolation. In a world marked by ongoing turmoil, we see Pride Camp as a collective balm—a unique opportunity to build a cohesive sense of who we are together. By strengthening our shared identity, we become more resilient as individuals and more effective as a cultural movement.
